I remember when I was a kid, my mother got my brother and me a subscription to my favorite superhero the ‪Hulk‬. Anyway, in one of the issues, and I can’t tell you what one, the Hulk went up against these animal people. An Elephant man, and like a Lion man and some others. I had never seen anything like that before and they really stuck with me. So I drew inspiration for this piece from that comic. I credit those early comics for growing my imagination, so thanks Mom!
